Cory Monteith plays a clean-cut, All-American teen jock on FOX’s Glee, but the 27-year-old was anything but in his own teen days. “I dropped out of school when I was 14 to go f**k around with my friends and live a lifestyle of crime and pay no mind to authority figures,” Cory tells the April 2010 issue of Rolling Stone. Wow, that’s quite a confession. Taylor Swift, do you think your mom would approve of you dating Cory after he dropped this bombshell?
Cory and Taylor (or “Tory” as our readers like to call them) seemed like such a perfect couple — two total goody-two-shoes. But Cory’s latest revelation has us second-guessing their longevity.
Though he won’t admit to abusing illegal substances, Cory does give the reporter an “oily” grin that suggests an answer. What he does admit to, however, is breaking into a car to steal a stereo during his early teens. “I still think any minute I’m going to get fired and be shipped back to Canada in handcuffs for stealing that car stereo,” he says.
