We spoke with Michael this morning and he tells HollywoodLife.com he’s worried about Lindsay. He says he wants to get Lindsay some “serious help” before she ends her life.
Michael Lohan claims Lindsay Lohan is spiraling out of control and it’s due to more than just late night partying. “Prescription drugs are the main problem,” he admits. “But when you add the other stuff it becomes lethal and toxic … I know what she’s doing. It’s very evident that she drinks but her friends tell me she’s doing cocaine. I know of other things she’s doing … it’s the bottom of the barrel.”
Michael plans to take matters into his own hands even if that means going head to head with Lindsay on Twitter.
It all started when Michael texted Lindsay in an effort to help her. Then according to Michael his daughter “twisted everything” by tweeting “My father just sent me this as I was leaving my gym ‘I told you to stop Linds this is the last time … you will be getting a call from somebody today to end you.'”
“She said I threatened her and I never said ‘end’ or anything like that,” says Michael. “I’m the enemy to her right now because I’m the one who knows what going on.”
Lindsay has dated deejay Samantha Ronson on and off since 2008 and despite Michael’s previous public attempts to break up the relationship he now admits Sam was the best thing that ever happened to his daughter. “In a way I think it was better when Samantha was there. I didn’t see her in the state of mind she’s in now when they were together.”
The Mean Girls star was photographed Mar. 23 entering a friends house in Hollywood and then proceeding to fall face first into a cactus. This spurred a debate as to whether Lindsay should re-enter rehab. The actress went to rehab three separate times in 2007 after being arrested for a DUI.
But what seems to be the most disturbing are Michael’s allegations that his daughter has had “horrible things” happen to her while she’s been intoxicated.
“Lindsay confided in me what happened to her when she was drunk and high and passed out. A lot of horrible things have happened.”
