Oh no, Jess, you forgot to put on your top! What do you think of this racy red get-up?
Lingerie as outerwear may be a big trend for spring and summer, but does 90210‘s Jessica Lowndes‘ style take the look a tad bit too far? For Toronto Fashion Week, Jess stormed the runway at the Heart Truth show in this red number by Evan & Dean. At first, I thought Jess was sporting an eccentric dress, but after further inspection, it looks like she’s actually wearing a bra over a red skirt!
While I love the rich red color and the interesting detail of the belt, I think this get-up took the whole lingerie look just a little too literally! The last time we saw lingerie as outerwear was in the ’80s, and while it looks like the trend is going to make a big comeback, there are some pieces of lingerie that are meant to stay under clothes! If you aren’t careful, this look can easily go from chic to cheap — but what do you think? Could Jess take this racy look from the runway to the sidewalk?
