Don’t make the same mistake Mischa did when you try to work a jumpsuit! Here’s how it’s done!
You can expect to see a ton of jumpsuits and rompers in store for spring and summer, and contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be pin thin to work this trend! Just look at Kim Kardashian — the starlet looks sexier than ever in a white belted jumpsuit and sandals in Miami. Unfortunately, Mischa Barton totally missed the mark in a polka-dot version, paired with tights and a frumpy pair of wedges. Mischa, when you wear a romper, your best bet is to pair it with bold heels or sandals that elongate your legs. Unless you have a straight frame, I would shy away from rompers with super-baggy tops — it’s best to accentuate your waist. While patterns can be cute, a solid color is often more flattering, as is a longer hemline. I would also stick to structured fabric — something flimsy can ride up and is often very unflattering. I’m all for the shorts and rompers with tights trend, but only if you’re wearing a winterized version that fits the look (tweed shorts are a great example!). Mischa’s get-up is just too thin to be paired with stockings. Hopefully all you ladies, (including Mischa!), will keep these tips in mind if you’re hoping to slip into a romper for a glam night out!

I think the tights may be too dark for the outfit but as a guy, I’m really sick of the bare legged look.
Girls, stockings ARE sexy when worn properly. This fake tan, Betty Rubble, vainy-leg look sucks. Especially in cooler weather.
