Little Charlie — bet your mommy Elin Nordegren is SOOO bursting with pride watching you take your first steps just a month and a half after your first birthday on Feb. 8. Sure hope daddy Tiger Woods got to see you looking so proud of yourself. He must have been so sad to miss your first birthday party when he was off in rehab. Really hope it’s true that your dad meant it when he talked about getting back to his core values, ’cause who wouldn’t want to be all snuggled up with you instead of with some bimbo tart!

could be she kept her maiden name, many women in europe include myself kept maiden-name and just put the married name after, like nordegren-woods, just like that maybe….mimi

The baby is adorable! It’s great to see him walking, but those are his first steps recorded by the media, not necessarily the first steps he’s ever taken.

Change of subject, but I’m really curious: why does the media keep using Elin Woods’ maiden name of Nordegren rather than her correct and legal last name of Woods? Elin’s sister Josefine is married, and when Josefine’s name is written in the press her married named is used, which is her correct name.

And prior to November 2009 Elin was referred to as ‘Elin Woods’. According to the few legal documents available to see online and even the letter to daughter Sam’s school, Elin refers to herself and writes her own name as ‘Elin Woods’.

So what’s the deal with the media refusing to get a clue and use Elin’s correct last name the way they do with her sister?
