The Bounty Hunter is bombing at the box office!

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, we have one question for you… What happened? The Bounty Hunter had so much hype, but it looks like it’s going to debut at #3 this weekend, according to Nikki Finke‘s Deadline.com. It’ll take in an estimated $20.5 million this weekend, which puts it behind Diary of a Wimpy Kid (which has a noticeable lack of A-listers) and Alice in Wonderland, which will rule the box office once again. BFFs, did you see the movie? Tells us: Why is it doing so poorly?

Come on – how can you say they’re bombing at the box office – look what they’re up against in their opening week – some pretty awesome “family” movies – and you gotta know that category can be pretty mean competition – plus – it’s spring break in a lot of places – millions of kids all over north america are heading to the movies!
I haven’t seen the movie – but would love to – the trailers look fun. My son will likely drag me to see the Wimpy Kid before I get to see jen on the big screen.

This movie will never make budget.

I wouldn’t consider $21 Million opening a bomb especially for a film that’s budget was only $40 million. Fool’s Gold by the same director with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey opened at the #1 spot with that same $21 million total and that movie cost $70 million to make in 2008. The only problem was that the Dairy of a Whimpy Kid was under-rated in it’s popularity. The movie is based on a very popular series of children’s books just like Harry Potter. Kids movies consistently rule the box office. How to Train Your Dragon will be the next #1 hit opening next weekend.

I think making almost 21 million on a movie that cost 40 million is a solid opening.From what I’ve been reading Nikki, you, and USWeekly are very biased when it comes to Jennifer. Didn’t see any of you calling Matt Damon’s Green Zone a bomb.Brought in 14.7 million opening weekend and cost the studio at 110 million.It just hit 24.7 million total this weekend.Also what about Oscar winner Hilary Swank’s bomb Amelia or what about Oscar winner Renee Zellweger’s New In Town? For some odd reason they get free passes from you guys.Also how about Oscar winner Bullock’s All About Steve? What is going on here? All the points about real bombs are valid plus why the personal attacks on Jen? That movie co-starred Gerard Butler. Honestly I don’t know what these writers are thinking when they write these lies. When you try to throw dirt on others, it only makes you look dirty – same w/ the lying as well. Did Jen set your house on fire? Steal your husband? You stole someone’s husband and by attacking Jen, you can now make yourself feel better b/c it’s like attacking the wife who’s husband you stole and excuse your cheating ways?
