Is Brad looking to make a serious career change?
It sure looks that way! Country star Brad Paisley, 37, might have found a new passion… as a movie director! He directed a short film, When Mom’s Away, which will premiere April 22 at the Nashville Film Festival, according to theBoot.com. And knowing Brad’s sense of humor, it’s going to be a hilarious hit!
Nothing about the film has been revealed yet, but we do know that it will be showcased at the same festival as Hilary Duff‘s new short movie, Provinces of Night.
Do you think getting into the movie business is a wise career move for Brad, or should he just stick to music? Tell us below!

Hi,
Thanks for mentioning Brad’s short film in the Nashville Film Festival, which takes place April 15-22 at Regal Green Hills Cinemas. Just want to make a quick correction. While it’s correct that “Provinces of Night,” which includes Hilary Duff, is also playing the festival, it’s a feature-length film, and not a short film. Directed by Shane Dax Taylor, tt also stars Kris Kristofferson, Val Kilmer, Dwight Yoakam and Reece Thompson, and will have it Southeast Premiere at the Festival on Saturday, April 17.
Thanks!
