Tiger and Charlie have each been in rehab over the past few months battling their personal demons but now they are ready to get back to their jobs — golfing in tournaments and shooting the hit sitcom, Two and a Half Men.

It seems like just yesterday that Tiger Woods crashed his Escalade into his neighborhood fire hydrant and Charlie Sheen was being arrested in Colorado for allegeding assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller. After taking very public roads to get their lives back on track, the two famous faces are heading back to work.

After entering sex rehab at Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Ms., and also The Meadows in Wickenburg, Az., Tiger announced  today on his website, March 16, that he will be competing in the 2010 Masters golf tournament which beings Apr. 5 in Augusta, Ga.

Here is Tiger’s full statement:

“The Masters is where I won my first major, and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta. The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played. I have undergone almost two months of inpatient therapy and I am continuing my treatment. Although I’m returning to competition, I still have a lot of work to do in my personal life. When I finally got into a position to think about competitive golf again, it became apparent to me that the Masters would be the earliest I could play.”

Charlie pleaded not-guilty on Mar. 15 in Aspen, to charges of felony menacing, misdemeanour 3rd degree assault and misdemeanour criminal mischief  stemming from a Christmas morning fight with his wife, Brooke. After spending time in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction the Two and a Half Men will be returning to the set later this week— he has been on a personal hiatus since Feb. 23.

“Charlie is looking forward to going back to work for the final four episodes of Two and Half Men,” says executive producer, Mark Burg. “He’s also looking forward to clearing his name, putting all of this behind him and spending time with his kids during his hiatus.”

After just a few months these stars are trying to put their scandals behind them.
