Have you ever fallen for one of your co-workers?

Shia LaBeouf has fallen hard for his Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Carey Mulligan – but unlike his usual TMI self, he’s keeping his relationship close to his chest.

The 23-year-old actor was sweetly protective when asked about his on-and-off-screen girlfriend in April’s GQ. “I never really had anything in my life that was off-limits. But with this, just out of respect, I just don’t want to f— around,” the actor explained.

He added, “She’s an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I’ve ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds. Neither one of us are fame whores. It works out. It’s not like we’re the premiere couple; we’re not the red-carpet king and queen.”

The couple started dating last August after being introduced by Wall Street director Michael Bay. And although we’d love to know more about Shia and his relationship with Carey, 24, you have to love that he respects her enough to avoid kissing and telling.

Oliver Stone is directing Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, not Michael Bay. Oops!
