Between her junior clothing line for Macy’s and now, shades for Dolce & Gabbana, Madonna wants to dress you up in her label — from head to toe! Madonna, who has starred in countless campaigns for the brand, is shifting gears with her latest role. The collection, which will consist of six pairs of stylish shades ranging from $248-$298, will bare the label MDG and are set to hit stores in May — just in time for Memorial Day.
“We’re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us,” Stefano Gabbana told WWD. The partnership marks the first co-branded project ever done by Dolce and Gabbana. First, the designers sketched the stylish shades, which were then edited and tweaked by Madonna for the collaboration. Madge, who is starring in the shade campaign, was shot by photographer Steven Klein. Check out a preview pair of the sunglasses above!
