From Stevie Wonder to Michael Phelps, Atlantic City was swarming with celebrities this past weekend who turned out to see the rapper! Here’s my live report.
Even the torrential downpour didn’t stop the stars from swarming to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa for a live performance by Jay-Z on Saturday, March 13. Since it was my first Jay-Z concert, I was very excited — and I wasn’t the only one! Olympian Michael Phelps told me it was his first time seeing the rapper perform live! “He’s one of my favorite rappers,” he told me right as the concert started. During the show, Michael took pictures of the performance and sang along. Also enjoying the show were BFF housewives Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, singer Adrienne Bailon ( Rob Kardashian’s ex-girlfriend ) , and Fantasia Barrino, but the most exciting guest of all, Stevie Wonder, was standing right in the front row!
After the concert, Jay-Z, Stevie, and Robin Thicke settled in for dinner at the Old Homestead restaurant in the Borgata, where they watched the Manny Pacquiao/ Joshua Clottey boxing match. Afterwards, Jay-Z was joined by wife Beyonce in the high limit Blackjack salon.
