Forget the Oscars! Gabby’s moved on to TV and now she wants an Emmy!
Did the critics really think that Precious was the end of Gabourey Sidibe‘s show biz career? Well, she’s proved them wrong! The 26 year-old Academy Award nominee has made the jump to television, where she’ll star in Showtime’s new dramatic comedy, The Big C.
Gabby will play a high school student learning from a terminally ill teacher named Cathy (Laura Linney), a suburban wife and mom who gets her groove back after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
