Eva Amurri celebrated turning 25 by drinking and dancing into the wee hours of the morning with her BFF – her mom! But because her mother is none other than Susan Sarandon, we’re completely OK that the mother and daughter are also party partners-in-crime.
After chowing down at NYC’s Nobu TriBeCa, the Californication starlet and her 63-year-old mom – clad in matching ‘burlesque-themed’ dresses with exposed black bras – hit Meatpacking District hot spot 1Oak.
After downing several Akvinta cocktails, at around midnight, Eva’s friends and family – who also included brother Miles Robbins, designer Chris Benz and NYC social director Andrew Saffir – gathered around a 3-tiered, pink, burlesque-themed cake to sing Eva, who’s actual birthday is today, March 15, ‘Happy Birthday’.
“Eva danced with friends until the wee hours of the morning, but Susan was having a blast too!” one partygoer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She was dancing up a storm and loved it when the DJ played oldies [like Son Of a Preacherman].”
But although Susan did party with her daughter, she still acted like a mom, too.
“Eva’s cake nearly toppled over,” dishes our insider, “but Susan wouldn’t let anything ruin her daughter’s birthday, so she swept in to the rescue and repaired the cake with her bare hands!”
What a good mom – and a good BFF!
