Will Crystal Bowersox and Didi Benami climb to the top together?
American Idol contestants all live in apartments with each other once once they start performing live, and we seemed to touch a soft spot when we asked 23-year-old Hollywood native Didi Benami about her current living situation.
“Um, I don’t think I’m supposed to talk about that,” the blond said nervously, when HollywoodLife.com asked her at the American Idol Top 12 party March 11 in West Hollywood.
“Well, I was living with Siobhan [Magnus] but — yeah,” Didi said, adding, “She’s sweet, too, by the way.” Then after fumbling around for words, she revealed she’s moving in with another popular favorite, 24-year-old Crystal Bowersox.
We’re not sure what (if anything) happened between Didi and Siobhan (the glassblower who Simon has deemed “weird” week after week), but Siobhan herself told us earlier that night everyone, not just Simon, has called her weird her “entire life.”
Maybe we’re reading too much into it, but watch the video and tell us what you think. Is Crystal and Didi’s new alliance going to last until the end?

your headline is pathetic. YES, YOU’RE READING TOO MUCH into it… just to drive traffic to your website. but you’re no better than a tabloid right- that’s what you all do- sensationalize everything to lure people it to read your articles. the video says nothing. idol not the contestants have a say in things such as who they room together. thank you.
