Would you forgive a friend whose husband insulted you?

Last season on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City, there was a major slip up! Ramona Singer‘s husband Mario called Countess LuAnn de Lesseps “countless” instead of countess and now it’s the butt of all jokes among the housewives. We caught up with LuAunn last night at her premiere party at La Pomme in NYC on March 5, and she told us, “I was really upset by that statement. It was totally inappropriate!”

“I was really upset by that statement especially coming from one of the husbands. I just found that it was really tactless and inappropriate, so I wasn’t happy,” continued LuAnn.

And the fact that Ramona didn’t apologize for her husband’s statement made the situation worse. “I thought Ramona’s reaction was crazy. She should have just said, ‘You know what, I can’t believe my husband just said that. I’m sorry about that Luann.’ That would’ve been it, but of course she’s a drama queen,” explained LuAnn.

But, that was last season and now that the filming of season three is complete and airing, LuAnn has moved on. “I don’t hold grudges. But, I just felt at that time ( I was divorcing still) it was just totally inappropriate,” she admitted.

LuAnn, we’re very sorry the name calling hurt your feelings, but we’re glad you’ve moved on.  And maybe, just maybe, in this season we’ll see you getting even with the people who upset you in season 2. If so, it’s going to make for some entertaining drama!

We can’t wait!
