Even though he’s recently married, you still have a virtual shot at love with the former bachelor!
Whether you were pleased or disgusted by how The Bachelor Jason Mesnick selected his sweetheart, new wife Molly Malaney, after first choosing Melissa Rycroft, now you have the power to make the decisions for him! Remake Jason and Molly’s magic (or, if you’re a total cynic, break them up) by playing a brand new Bachelor video game made by Nintendo Wii!
The Bachelor:The Videogame doesn’t hit shelves until this summer, but Hollywoodlife.com has a sneak peek at the game, which is structured exactly like the hit reality show. You – as a player – get the chance to compete for Jason’s love – and even sabotage your opponents’ dates- in challenges that lead up to a cyber rose ceremony.
Also fun: you can choose different avatars of former bachelorette, who are based on actual former contestants, that best suits your personality. Talk about playing with power!
We love this! The only thing that kind of confuses us is the fact that Jason’s avatar resembles President Barack Obama. Is it just us or do you see the resemblance, too? We asked the game’s reps if the resemblance was intentional; the response was a firm ‘no.’ “[Jason’s] likeness is just a cartoon version, but we didn’t have any intention towards that,” they assure us.
Damn. We so wish we could date Barack Obama – but Jason will do, too.
