Believe it or not, the ‘Knock You Down’ singer credits basketball for knocking those extra pounds off!
Keri Hilson has the height – and stems – of a supermodel Yeah, we’re totally envious, but also completely curious. How does the R&B songbird keep her figure looking so fierce? Surely she must diet within an inch of her life AND work out like a beast!
“Diet? I don’t really know what that is! I’m from Atlanta, Georgia. We don’t really do that around there, but we do work out!” Keri, 27, told Hollywoodlife.com backstage at NAACP awards in Los Angeles Feb. 26.
She added, “I think it’s all about balance. You can kinda eat what you want to eat, but in smaller portions. It’s all about portion control.”
The singer also credits her high school hobby – basketball – for keeping her in shape. “I used to play ball, so I figure some of that is probably from high school, but since I’ve been out here, I have learned the importance of incline running. Like the canyon. I do Runyon Canyon [when I’m in Los Angeles],” she told us.
Running is all fine and good, but we think Keri’s got some DNA mastery at work as well! We have to admit, she’s definitely got us thinking about organizing a pick-up game of b-ball with the girls!
