He might be mean … but he’s got money! Simon Cowell obviously spared no expense with this huge diamond ring he bought for his 36-year-old finaceé, Mezhgan Hussainy. Just look at that rock!
Robert DiMattina, Owner of Diamond Images USA in Miami, FL, tells HollywoodLife.com the ring “Is about six-seven karats” and the stone cost “approximately $400,000-$500,000.” WOW! He adds, “It’s a round, brilliant diamond. If the color and clarity are higher, it could be worth more.” Mezhgan, we hope you’re careful with that!
Simon and Mezhgan met on the set of American Idol, where he has been the popular but harsh judge of the aspiring Idols, and she, their make-up artist. The two were engaged last week … and she is already showing off her finger bling!

I am happy for Simon and his fiancee. I am a regular fan of American Idol. I will miss Simon when he leaves. I will probably watch the new show he will have and stop watching Idol. It won’t be the same with him gone. Congratulation’s Simon on your engagement. She is beautiful! I hope you both have a wonderful life together. Your friend, JanetSampson
