Jude Law has never met fourth child, Sophia Burke … until now! The baby was born on September 22, 2009, to Samantha Burke, an aspiring actress who met Jude while filming Sherlock Holmes. At the time, Jude’s reps said that the actor “fully intended to be part of the baby’s life” … though he hasn’t been seen in the same place as her until yesterday, Feb. 28.
Jude was spotted at the Conrad Hotel, just a few blocks from where Sam and Sophia were staying at the Mandarin Oriental. But before meeting his little one for the first time, Jude made sure to take care of business. He even visited with a top Miami family attorney before meeting his five month old baby!
The actor has three other children with ex-wife Sadie Frost. Recently, he’s gotten back together with his ex-girlfriend, Sienna Miller.
Well, Jude, we’re glad you’re taking the time to meet little Sophia, even it is a bit on the tardy side. Better late than never!

If it’s true, I think it’s tragic that he isn’t more involved in his daughter’s life. It’s not her fault that her mom’s fame crazy. No matter what, he’s her father. I can understand he may not want anything to do with her mother, but the little girl’s his flesh and blood and needs a dad. She’s completely innocent and deserves to have a daddy. And I certainly hope it’s not true what I read about such a small amount for support. She deserves better than that. The mother may not deserve more, but the little girl does.
