Sean sets a perfect example — one person CAN make a difference in this world!
Academy Award winning actor and director Sean Penn is a hero, reports TMZ! He saved the lives of two people in Haiti on Feb. 26, a woman and an orphan who were trapped under debris caused by a possible aftershock of the 7.0 earthquake that devastated Haiti on Jan. 12. Not only did Sean, 49, drive one and a half hours with his daughter Dylan, 18, to lend a helping hand, but he also stayed with his rescued victims as the woman was treated for leg injuries and the child for head trauma.
He is also leading the efforts of the Penn Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization.
Way to go, Sean! While some celebrities just opened their wallets to support relief efforts in Haiti, you actually took action and saved lives!
