Are YOU bummed that Wanted 2 isn’t happening?
If you loved Wanted and have been craving even more bullet-bending action… sorry, you’re out of luck! NYMag.com is reporting that Angelina Jolie has pulled out of the planned sequel to the 2008 blockbuster, and instead of recasting her role or replacing her with another big-name actress, the studio has decided to drop the movie altogether! Angelina will instead star in the movie Gravity, in which she’ll play the last surviving member of an outer space mission, determined to return to her daughter on Earth. To be fair, Gravity does sound pretty cool. We just wish she could do both! Tell us, BFFs — are YOU sad that Wanted 2 isn’t being made?

Seems to me she killed herself with a clean shot straight through the head in a round about way. I mean if she didn’t want to die, with her movie talents, she could have dodged the bullet. Although suppose you could save her/bring her back, maybe… I can think of several ways to go. Not that a sequel is needed, but they could go from there and bring in fresh meat to add to James McAvoy. It would be cheaper on the budget and give a twist to the story line making it a bit fresh because if there’s an organization like that, more than likely several branches throughout the world so lots of ways to go. Then if Angie wants to come back to make another, her character could be revived somehow and after a long recuperation and retraining to remember even who or what she is, then they could make a trilogy… So many ways to go, suppose it all depends on how much money the studio thinks it will make or if it will add to their bottom line. That’s what determines if any movie gets made and especially how it’s released.
