Will the new gals become part of the pack or be left as loners? The housewives tell us what they think!
Meet the two new cast members of Bravo‘s The Real Housewives of New York City, Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert! These new gals are definitely going to cause some drama in the show’s third season, which premieres March 4 at 11 p.m., and we got the inside scoop about them from returning housewives Bethenny Frankel, Alex McCord, and Ramona Singer at their Season 3 Screening Party at Tenjune on Feb. 24 in New York.
Here’s what the veteran housewives think of the newbies:
- Bethenny Frankel: “They’re lovely. They’re very nice. Sonja is completely fresh and honest and unedited. Sonja is very nice and helpful. They’re very brand new into it, so we haven’t had any kind of major interaction. I was kind of exiting it as they were entering it. Sonja’s really kind of fun. And Jennifer Gilbert has said that I’m an inspiration to her and she kind of wants to build a brand the way I have. She wanted me to show her the ropes. They both have been very complimentary and inspired by my business.”
- Alex McCord: “Neither of them make me unhappy. I had an opportunity to film with Sonja more than I had with Jennifer, but we all had a really good time. I don’t know what they are going to show because we filmed enough for probably three seasons. Sonja and I had some great hijinx we got up to, though.”
- Ramona Singer: “I love Sonja. Sonja and I, our chemistry is great! You will see it on camera. She reminds me of me because she’s independent. She’s very secure. She’s not intimidated by other women. She likes to have fun and she tells it like it is, but maybe with a softer edge than I do. Jennifer came in the end, so I didn’t really know her.”
Don’t forget to check out Ramona’s new jewelry line, available on the Home Shopping Network on March 2!
