Oh, behave! American Idol’s newest judge says that she just couldn’t handle Simon Cowell’s wandering hands – and even had to switch seats to get away from him!
The sexual tension is running high on American Idol this season, and shockingly, we’re not referring to the bromance between Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell. The newest judge on the show, Ellen DeGeneres, says Simon lusts for her so much that she couldn’t bear to sit next to him anymore!
“We had a little problem and I felt like it’s safer over here,” Ellen, 52, joked Feb. 23. “The problem is: Simon wants me. He’s got, like, a thing for me, and I get it — but it’s not gonna happen.”
Simon, 50, sat at the table, smirking, as Ellen teased him.
“His hands are like wandering hands,” she said, as they replayed old footage of Simon putting his paw on Ellen’s leg.
But hold it right there, peeps. One, Ellen is married to a woman — former Better Off Ted starlet Portia de Rossi — and Simon is swatting off marriage rumors to Idol make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
Shucks! Well, if love isn’t in the air, camaraderie certainly is. The pair’s good-natured teasing should surely get rid of all those pesky rivalry rumors!
