It wasn’t a g’day, mate, for Whitney, who had to break after two songs during her first Australian concert in twenty years
Whitney Houston is in the process of making her big comeback with her “Nothing But Love” tour, but after a (literally) short-winded, unstable performance in Sydney, Australia on Feb. 22, we have to ask….Whitney, what happened?
The 46-year-old diva performed her first of six concerts in Oz on Monday night at Sydney’s Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Sydney, but two songs into the show became short of breath and appeared so exhausted that she had to sit down and stayed seated throughout the remainder of the show.
Later, while trying to introduce her back-up band, she announced their names incorrectly and appeared disoriented. At one point, she even had to take a break and brought her brother, Gary, onstage to sing in her place.
Whitney certainly can’t seem to catch a break! How can we forget her messy divorce from ex-husband, singer Bobby Brown, or her struggle to overcome an addiction to drugs and alcohol? But “we will always love you”, Whitney, so take as much time to get back into the groove as you need!
