While most people would be thrilled just to compete in the Olympics, fan favorite Johhny Weir is already thinking about a career change!

While this may come as a surprise to some, it turns out Johnny Weir already has a hand in fashion — he even designed the outfits he wore during his short and free skate programs in Vancouver! “In figure skating your body can only last for so long. I can’t be 50 and trying to skate but I can be 50 and be in fashion, so I have to look to my future and what I want to achieve,” Weir told Yahoo! Sports after placing sixth during the men’s event on Feb. 18. The skater went on to say how he would like to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, “I want to create art more than anything and the way I want to do it is through fashion.” It looks like Johnny is serious about his next venture!
