TLC dropped their lawsuit against the reality TV dad and his lawyer Mark Heller tells us they ‘kissed and made up.’

Jon Gosselin can finally stop complaining that TLC is making him go broke — the TLC lawsuit that’s been looming over Jon G. for months officially ended Feb. 17. TLC and Jon settled their dramatic breach of contract suit today at the Montgomery County, Md., courthouse. Jon’s attorney Mark Heller released the following statement:

“Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of Jon and Kate Plus 8 although all terms are confidential he is hopeful that TLC will move forward with the best interest of the Gosselin family. Sometimes litigants that kiss and make up find their relationship is much better the second time around. As Jon’s attorney I truly hope that this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselin’s is a much more joyful journey.”

So does this mean Jon’s headed back for round 2 of Jon and Kate Plus 8? “We are still figuring all of that out … but I’ll be there every step of the way,” says Mark.

A source tells People that TLC wants to resume filming.”[TLC] hopes they will soon be able to film the family again.”

Mark told HollywoodLife.com Dec. 8 that TLC was withholding funds in the amount of $175,000 from the Gosselin family and that they illegally used child labor when they put the eight little Gosselin’s on the show. But it seems as though all of those details have been hammered out in the courtroom. Originally a judge had ruled Dec. 10 that Jon couldn’t make media appearance until Apr. 19 but it looks as though that doesn’t hold true anymore.

A source close to the Gosselin brood tells us that Kate hasn’t been spotted at her home in Reading, PA., since Feb. 13 … hmm we wonder what Kate thinks — it may not be Kate Plus 8 after all. — Chloe Melas
