Finally, John Mayer realizes that he’s not funny or witty and that he needs to grow up! But do you believe him?

John Mayer is kicking himself for being such a creep.  John went on and on last night, Feb. 10, during a concert in Nashville, TN about his “quest to be clever” — translation: he finally realized that the insulting interviews he gives are not funny or interesting.

First, John talked to Rolling Stone magazine about missing Jennifer Aniston, his pill popping, and obsession with porn.  Then he used the “N” word and made derogatory reference to gay people in Playboy — all while still managing to talk about his very private relationships with Jen and Jessica Simpson.

Now he’s saying, “In the quest to be clever, I completely forgot about the people that I love, the people that love me … and as I have begun to do in a wormhole of selfishness and greediness and arrogance, and thinking that if I just continue to be speedy, and witty, and pull together as many fast words and phrases as I could that I could be clever enough to buy myself another day without having somebody pin me down and say ‘you’re a creep.'”

Hmmm, John.  We’re pretty sure WE pinned you down and said that to you many times before!
