Are you as excited as we are to hop on our Firebolts and head to the Muggle/Wizarding World of Harry Potter this spring?
Hogwarts School of Magic is hidden (duh), so we were awed and astounded to find out that it’s actually in Florida, and not somewhere magical in the U.K. like we assumed. Photos of the anxiously anticipated Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park on Universal’s Island of Adventure were released Feb. 10, and we’re more excited than ever to discover that Harry’s world is accessible by airplane, not via broomstick.
Theme park producer Paul Daurio promises fans are going to going gaga on their wizard sticks when the magical playground opens this Spring, and says that production companies have “pushed every technology available to us to give guests a theme park experience unlike any they’ve had before.”
Adds Daurio, “Along those journeys, they’re going to be swept up into the greatest parts of the movies and the books.”
We hope you’re wearing your Gryffindor hat before getting on any of Harry’s rides though — we hear you might need to call upon your bravery to ride the park’s two roller coasters!
