Sick of chocolates and champagne? Give to charity for Valentine’s Day instead!

Even though Ashton Kutcher recently said he doesn’t believe in Valentine’s Day, he couldn’t help but try to make the day special for someone. He and Demi Moore recently launched their own charity – the Demi and Ashton Foundation – to focus on women who have been victims of human traffic king and are sending roses to 270 human trafficking victims this Valentine’s Day to shed light on their struggle.

“I struck up an agreement with the wife this year that we’re not going to try to do something big for each other and instead the best way we can celebrate the day is to share our love with other people,” Ashton, 32, said.

“There’s an organization in New York called GEMS that helps human trafficking victims. There are a bunch of these girls that have come off the streets and are now being housed by this organization, so we’re going to make all those girls our Valentines this year.”

Can you imagine how special it would be to get a gift on the most romantic day of the year from Ashton and Demi?

If you were thinking about skipping out on the usual chocolate and roses, take a cue from these two and donate to your favorite charity. Could they be more selfless? Such a great idea!
