Check out HollywoodLife.com’s video of Real Housewife Gretchen Rossi’s performing debut — do you think she has what it takes to be a pop star?

We caught Real Housewives of the O.C. reality star’s Gretchen Rossi’s first public performance on tape Feb. 4 at Svedka Vodka’s Adult Playground 2033 Event Series in Hollywood.

“I’m soo nervous. I’ve never performed live,” Gretchen, 32, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, just minutes before going on stage to debut her original song dedicated to her late fiancee Jeff Beitzel, who passed away from leukemia Sept. 2008. “My first time ever singing into a mic was this afternoon at rehearsal.”

After hearing that, we were pretty sure the odds were stacked against the blonde — who performed to a packed audience that included Nicky Hilton and her parentals, Perez Hilton and Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger — but surprisingly, her performance didn’t have us running for the hills. (Probably because the two nearly-naked guys spinning around wrapped in white sheets on either side of the stage distracted us.)

Her BFF and fellow Housewife, 32-year-old Alexis Bellino, made the trek north to L.A. from Orange County to catch the song and raved about her bestie’s performance. “She nailed it. She got the moves right. She hit every note. She was awesome.”

You can watch Gretchen’s performance for yourself in the vid above — do you think this Housewife will make it in the big, bad music world? Sound off below!
