Fool Lauren Conrad once, shame on you, but fool her twice? No chance!
Lauren Conrad, 24, is a firm believer in once a cheater always a cheater and she learned that lesson from an ex BF … but which one? We don’t know … was it Jason Wahler, Stephen Colletti, or Brody Jenner? We’re guessing probably all of them because these guys are known to be LA players. The starlet most famous for her MTV reality show The Hills is gracing the March cover of Seventeen magazine and she makes it known that infidelity is not her thing. “I knew back then when I was being cheated on,” she confessed to the mag. “But I overlooked it. The more confident me has come to the point where I’ve finally realized it’s not something that everyone does. And it’s not okay to have your guy hook up with someone else. You deserve better.” But her slew of ex BF’s hasn’t phased her — she’s found love again with her actor BF Kyle Howard, 31.
Lauren may not be starring in a show that captivated the lives of millions of girls but she IS incredibly busy promoting her new book Sweet Little Lies, a clothing line for Kohls and being the spokesperson for mark makeup. She admits that she had no clue The Hills would launch her in so many directions. “I was 17 and I just wanted to be on TV,” she said. “I wish I could give myself more credit and say I had a whole business plan, but really I just thought MTV was cool and that it would be fun.”
As for why Kyle never appeared on The Hills alongside her? “It never even came up,” she said. “By the time I met Kyle, I had already perfected my ‘double life.’ There was my TV life and my real life. Most of my closet friends were never on the show; my family was rarely on. I think it’s better that way. It’s not normal to put every part of your personal life on camera. You have to have something for yourself or you’ll go crazy.” — Chloe Melas
