Nicole Richie Brings Baby Harlow To See Lionel Richie Re-Record '80s Hit 'We Are The World!'

Did you know Nicole Richie watched her dad Lionel Richie record We Are The World when she was 4-years-old? She passed on the tradition to her daughter Harlow, 2 when she brought her to a re-recording of the single on Feb. 1.

Nicole Richie relived  a very personal moment and shared the special experience with her daughter Harlow, 2, on Feb. 1.  The two were in an LA recording studio with Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie as he re-recorded his 1985 charity hit, We Are The World, which he co-wrote with Michael Jackson. Nicole was so excited to be sharing this moment with her family that she tweeted, “I was 4-years-old in a studio watching my dad record We Are The World and today I get to do it again.” Her hubby , Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden also sang on the new single along with over 100 celebs including  Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, and Barbra Streisand. The new single will premiere Feb. 12 on NBC during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. The stars hope  this single will be downloaded by listeners to raise money for earthquake relief in Haiti.
