Unless you caught the first five minutes of the Grammy Awards, you might not even have known Lady Gaga was there!
The top selling artist was, oddly, NOT posed as the main attraction of the Grammy Awards, and was instead, was the award show’s opener. And Lady Gaga also won two awards — “Poker Face” won Best Dance Recording, and The Fame won for Best Electronic/Dance Album — but she accepted them BEFORE the awards! So most people didn’t even realize that she won anything!
Gaga was still so grateful for her recognition, Tweeting, “I am so grateful to all of you for your loyalty and love. I would never be here without u.”
Does the music industry have something against Gaga? Or was it just the year for Beyonce and Taylor Swift to shine? Either way, the entire show went south after Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks performed together, with sappy/serious categories and performances.
They should have saved Gaga for the middle or end of the show to actually keep people watching!

I agree. I was pretty surprised that she & Elton John opened. I def would have loved to see more of her. Beyonce & Taylor deserved their awards and Lady Gaga deserved more also.
This show was really packed with great performances, but I wanted more Gaga!
BTW, her producer sounds like a possessive bad boyfriend. Hope she has her eyes wide open and is in charge of herself.
