They all got their start as little kids on Barney & Friends!
Which contestant from last night’s episode of American Idol stuck with you the most? For us, it’s a no-brainer: 23-year-old Erica Rhodes! You know, the chick with the whip who sang En Vogue‘s “Free Your Mind?” Not only was she adorable and a great singer, but she got her start in showbiz as a child actor on Barney & Friends just like two of our other favorite little performers, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato! Erica may have turned out a little edgier than Selena and Demi (she didn’t have Disney in her corner) but there’s no denying that Barney has a knack for churning out some pretty talented kids!
