It takes a lot of chutzpah to wear some (cross out ALL) of the ensembles Lady Gaga, 23, wears onstage – and in life. But in order to pull off her kooky, crazy outfits, the pop star needs to make sure her bod is in flawless shape.
This clearly isn’t a problem now that she’s enlisted trainer-to-the-stars Harley Pasternak, who has worked with everyone from Miley Cyrus to Jessica Simpson to Halle Berry, to get her ass in shape for the European leg of her Monster Ball tour, which kicks off in Manchester, U.K. Feb. 18 (her American tour ends tonight, Jan. 26 in West Lafayette, Ind).
Follow this plan and you, too, can have a physique and perfect as Gaga’s!
Step 1: Gaga does her 5-Factor workout with a HarleyBar. That’s a cool barbell/dumbbell combination she travels with.
Step 2: Warm-up with a five-minute jog.
Step 3: Do the following three exercises as a circuit. Three times for 25 reps each set – DB back Rows – which train your upper back and posture muscles, DB deadlifts, which target your hamstrings, thighs and butt, and Sides bends, which work your love handles and obliques.
Step 4: Five minutes of skipping rope.
