Kristen & Dakota got the royal rock treatment at Sundance!

Punk icon Joan Jett, 50, lit up Harry O’s in Park City, Utah, last night with a wild performance of some of her hits — and as we predicted, she was joined on stage by three not-so-surprise guests, former bandmate Cherie Currie, 51, Kristen Stewart, 19, and Dakota Fanning! Kristen and Dakota play Joan and Cherie in their new movie The Runaways, and they apparently slipped quietly into the SPiN pre-party at the Quintessentially luxury lounge before rocking out to Joan and Cherie’s “Playing With Fire” backstage at Harry O’s. HollywoodLife.com was there as Joan welcomed the ladies to the stage.

“I wanna welcome Cherie Currie who started the band with me, and the two lovely girls who wil play us in The Runaways,” Joan said as Cherie, Kristen and Dakota entered to applause. Dakota smiled and waved to the crowd (she looked so excited!) as Joan told Kristen to take off her signature hoodie so everyone could get a good look at her.

It’s great to see how close all of these ladies got while shooting The Runaways! It’s definitely a motley crew, but sometimes opposites attract. We can’t wait to see Kristen and Dakota in the movie.
