012110_peopleschoiceredcarpet_956139601_5442010 is truly your year, Dianna. Not only did you win your first Golden Globe, but you’ve also optioned your first screenplay!

Dianna Agron seriously has a ton to be gleeful about this year. The Glee star won her first Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy Series, is co-starring with big guns like Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin in The Romantics and now is about to become a published screenwriter.

The 23-year-old starlet, who plays hot cheerleader Quinn Fabray on the hit Fox series, tweeted Jan. 19, “This [post] is actually a year late. J Still cool that it’s written about! ‘Glee’s Agron Sells Screenplay.’”

In an interview posted on Cinemablend, Dianna says, “Once a month, try something you don’t think you’d be good at. You can find such happy surprises. Recently, I got the confidence to write a screenplay – a story about a guy who can’t say ‘I love you’ – and it’s been optioned!”

She added, “The challenge is getting off your couch and doing it, making the conscious decision to put your ideas into motion. You can always find a reason not to try. But unless you become fully invested, you’ll never know what could happen.”

Congrats, Dianna! We can’t wait to see who gets cast as a guy who can’t commit. Might we offer one suggestion? John Mayer would be perfect for the part!
