Do you think John and Amy give Jon Cryer and Molly Ringwald a run for their money?

Um, how much do you love this? John Krasinski and Amy Poehler paid homage to writer John Hughes by dressing up like two of his most iconic 80’s characters, Pretty in Pink’s lovable dork Duckie Dale and beautiful misfit Andie Walsh, a the Critics Choice Awards in LA Jan. 15.

Although The Office star, 30, made one fierce Duckie, somehow we still can’t see this Boston-born hottie ever being unlucky in love – especially since his real-life relationship with British beauty Emily Blunt has so successfully ended with the couple’s recent engagement.

Amy, 38, is just as hard to buy. After all, the Parks & Recreations actress is blond – while Molly Ringwald’s fiery locks were her signature look. Plus, comparing Amy’s hilarious husband Will Arnett to Andie’s preppy love interest Blane McDonough (played by 80’s heartthrob Andrew McCarthy) is like comparing apples to oranges. Or preppies to funny boys, whatever.

Still, kudos for trying you two. Even though you may not be quite so pretty in pink, you still pretty much rock our world!
