Sandra Bullock showed us on the red carpet why she deserved to win her globe!

Sandra Bullock has really stepped up her beauty game this year no doubt in part to her two hit movies that she was nominated for at The Golden Globes Awards in LA on Jan. 17. She took home the globe for best actress in a motion picture – drama for her Blind Side performance and looked spectacular while accepting her award. She can thank her talented makeup artist, Angela Levin for her exceptionally pretty look. “I had an entirely different plan for her makeup but, when she walked in the room, she was so happy and comfortable looking, I changed my mind. Sandra said, ‘go for it!’” Angela says. “I wanted to emphasize the eyes but I also had to take into consideration that she’d be sitting there for a while so her makeup would have to have longevity.”

Here’s how Angela got Sandra’s look!

  • “I used the Chanel Tweed Blush Duo in Tweed Rose. It’s mixed up with gold so when you put it on it brings out the natural rosiness of the cheek and has a little bit of iridescentness and the light hits it and picks it up.”
  • “I use a Chanel Glossimer in Beige Guitare just to give her lip some life. It has a little glitter in it.”
  • “Sandra has one of the most beautiful lashes that I have seen. I did load them up with mascara. I apply it, then I brush it out, then I put another coat, then another. It fluffs up the lashes. Then on the lower lashes, I apply it with a flat brush.”

How Sandra maintained her look through the night!

  • “Certain people can hold certain makeup better. Sandra is the kind of girl who you put the makeup on and it barely moves. I said to her just use the glossimer over the lips, mainly in the center of the lip and run your finger under the eye just to make sure that nothing has fallen down.” - Marta Topran
