As all you BFFs know, Glee is a HollywoodLife.com TV favorite. And now we know … we’re not alone! The superb musical comedy on Fox won a Golden Globe Award last night for “Best Television Show/Musical or Comedy.” How excited are you??
The absolutely darling cast — Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Matthew Morrison, Mark Salling, and Jessalyn Gilsig — were beaming as they accepted their Golden Globe. It is a pretty big deal … especially considering they haven’t even finished Season One yet!
It’s also so refreshing to see a show the celebrates diversity. The cast includes characters of various race, religion, sexual preference, and physical forms. While these things often separate and divide high school students, Glee is a truly mixed group with one huge thing in common … talent! Which is probably why the show also won a People’s Choice Award on Jan. 6.
Or as Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch, would say, “You guys look like the world’s worst Benetton ad!” We’ll take it as a compliment.
