Did you care about the world when you were 16 or did you only care about yourself?

Were you glued to the news and raising awareness over global disasters? Gossip Girl starlet Taylor Momsen told Ok! magazine Jan. 14 that even though most of Hollywood and the world is focused on the devastating earthquake that occurred in Haiti Jan. 12, “Um, right now I’m trying to just finish my record and get through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now,” she confessed. “So not so much thinking about that.”

I’m hoping it was taken out of context and she meant that she’s keeping her mind off of it and staying busy with her stuff.

I know her publicist cringed big time.

She could have said I’m praying for them but something tells me that she didn’t even know there was an earthquake in Haiti. Just keep working on that record no ones going to buy.
