Sneak Peek: Will a Contestant Make 'Project Runway' History by Not Finishing a Challenge?

Yikes! What would happen if you were the only designer ever that couldn’t ‘make it work?’

Time’s a tickin’ for one Project Runway hopeful who’s already creating buzz despite the fact that Lifetime’s reality show hasn’t even aired yet.

Check out 43-year-old Emilio Sosa break into a sweat when he realizes that — gasp — he may have to send a partially naked model down the runway because he’s running out of time to finish his design.

“We’ve never had anyone in the whole history of the show just not finish … ever,” host Tim Gunn tells Emilio super seriously.

“My knees buckle. SH–!” Emilio understandably shrieks, crying “Why, why ME?”

Tim then warns the designer’s fellow competitors that they should avoid getting stuck in a similar situation. “Alright designers, I’m thrilled you’re being as ambitious as you’re being. At the same time, some of you may have to recalibrate your ambitions according to the time frame because I’m seriously worried about it. So for the rest of the night, sew, cut, drape, do whatever you need to do to finish this.”

You’ll just have to tune in to see whether Emilio makes — pardon the pun — the cut. As Heidi Klum says, in fashion, one day you’re in and the next day you’re out!
