Did you enjoy last night’s episode of Fox’s hit talent show as much as these two starlets did?

OK, so we really aren’t all that surprised that Jordin Sparks and Lea Michele are die-hard American Idol fans. After all, Jordin, 20, actually won Fox’s singing show back in 2007 while Lea, 23, sings for a living as well, on another Fox show, Glee.

Both gals took to their Twitter pages during Season 9’s second episode—which showcased the auditions in Atlanta—to share their thoughts with the Twitterverse.

“Oh my god. The guy on American Idol singing “pants on the ground” right now. I’m dying!! SO funny!!!!!” Lea tweeted about hysterical 62-year-old contestant General Larry Platt, who was so ridiculous he made guest judge Mary J. Blige cry with laughter.

Jordan was more serious—as a former Idol should be—with her vocal criticism.

“Um Jermaine on American Idol tonight. WHOOOOOOWEEEEE! loved it!” she raved about self-professed “church boy” Jermaine Sellars after his rendition of Joan Osbourne‘s “One of Us.” (He’s pretty much the angel out of all the contestants—not only does he sing like one, he cares for his sick mom. Awww.)

But one thing the youngest Idol winner ever DIDN’T love was how the show poked fun at a redneck welder who claimed he had nearly died three times. “Jesse Hamilton. Bless his heart. Those cheap dramatizations weren’t funny.”

We didn’t think so either, Jordin!

Who do you think stood out the most from the Atlanta auditions?
