We hope you get well soon, Michael!
The bad news: Dexter star Michael C. Hall revealed Jan. 13 that he has been diagnosed with cancer. But there’s good news too, though — the 38-year-old actor is being successfully treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a disease that affects the body’s immune system.
Michael’s rep, Craig Bankey, said the disease is in complete remission and he will continue receiving treatment as planned. “I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care,” the Showtime star said in a statement.
Though he’s still undergoing treatment, he isn’t letting the cancer get in his way of his career. Michael, who’s up for a Golden Globes best actor accolade, is still planning to attend the award show ceremony Jan. 17 with his wife and co-star Jennifer Carpenter. He’ll also go back to work on the drama’s fifth season later this year.

I cannot believe Jennifer Carpenter wasn’t nominated for a GG this year. She was amazing in so many of her scenes this past season. What a wonderful actress! Best of luck to both of them and happy to hear he’s doing well :)
