Are you excited to see two Hollywood heavyweights back on the big screen together?
New BFF alert: Did Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts have that much fun filming Charlie Wilson’s War in 2007 that Tom wrote a new project just so they could work together yet again?
The Oscar winners will join forces for Tom’s new comedy, Larry Crowne, where the Forrest Gump star, 53, will be on triple duty in front of and behind the camera — he not only wrote it but will also direct and star in it alongside Julia, 42, Nikki Finke’s Deadline.com reports.
Tom will reportedly play the lead character, but there’s no word on what his leading lady will be in the flick, which starts production April in L.A.
If their resumes and last film together are any indication, this new one will bit a hit at the box office, get some recognition from critics AND score some award show nominations!
