Of course she is — wouldn’t you feel like the cat that got the cream if you were moving on with a much younger beau?
Susan Sarandon is doing fine after calling it quits with director Tim Robbins. Sure, they were together for more than two decades but the actress, 63, definitely isn’t let grass grow under her feet.
“My mom is doing well,” Susan’s daughter, Eva Amurri, 24, told reporters Jan. 10 during Audi’s Pre-Golden Globes Party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood.
Without going into detail — or discussing her mom’s 31-year-old boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin (Susan’s partner in her new NYC ping pong parlour, Spin) — Eva reassured everyone that her famous mother is A-OK, and added that they’ll be teaming up on a project in the near future. “We’re actually working on something together soon,” she said, again remaining tight-lipped when pressed for further details.
Mother and daughter will no doubt be racking up a lot of frequent flier miles or burning up their phone lines now that Eva has moved across the country from NYC to LA. Still, Susan must be grateful she’s got someone to lean on!
