Jay Leno could be back at 11.30 pm soon — and Conan could be in deep trouble.
Reports today on TMZ and the New York Times suggest that Jay could be moving back to 11:30 pm after affiliates have complained about ratings for the 11 pm local newscasts take a nose-dive because of weak lead-in audiences from the network in the 10 pm hour.
What does that mean for Conan? The same reports suggest that Jay’s then-later show could become a half-hour show, with Conan following. Or, Conan might go off the air completely.
