In the biggest scandal to hit The Bachelor to date, contestant Rozlyn Papa has been kicked off the hit ABC show’s 11th season, for having an “inappropriate relationship” with a producer. The New York Post reports that Rozlyn was “booted for having an ‘inappropriate relationship’ with someone from the show.”
This season, which premiered Monday, stars Jake Pavelka, a pilot, as The Bachelor longing for love.
Though The NY Post story also suggests Rozlyn “stormed off the show in a rage after ABC reneged on its promise to allow her to see her 7-year-old son.”
ABC refuses to comment on the story, probably because the anticipation has boosted this season to higher ratings than the past four seasons! The premiere garnered 9.5 million viewers. Will you tune in to see the Rozlyn drama?

It seems the rate of marriage to proposals on the show is very low. So, why do we keep tuning in every season? We love the “romance” of “dating” in quick time. I have heard teenagers talking about how they watch so they can learn how to kiss, snuggle, sweet talk, etc. I have listened to us older group (60+) talk about experiencing young love through these couples who grow in “like/love” each week. Everyone seems to like the show because it is “real” life instead of a scripted soap opera/story. I know our perception of what is going on is guided by the editing but it is still a good serial show. I particularly liked this season with Jake because he seemed to be more in control of how HE wanted some things to go. I am enjoying his great smile on Dancing With the Stars.
