We have the glitzy cocktails that celebrities love to sip on while partying the night away on New Year’s Even! Even master mixologist Somer Perez from Couture Cocktail Concepts concocted exclusive cocktails for you readers, so you can ring in 2010 like an A-lister! Make sure to mix up these luscious drinks for you and your friends for a night of friends, fun, and glamour.

Kevin Connolly‘s been spotted at Cellar Bar inside New York’s Bryant Park Hotel. To make one of their popular treats, 2-Straw-Basil Sapphire Fantasy:
1 ½ oz of Sapphire Bombay Gin

½ oz of Chambord

3 leaves of basil

2 fresh strawberries

1 tea spoon of sugar

Top it with club soda

Justin Timberlake was recently spotted at Hudson Terrace on  W 46th Street in NYC, ordering Pickle-back shots!

What’s that? Well, it’s just a shot of Jameson followed by a shot of pickle juice!  And who doesn’t love taking shot’s on New Year’s Eve?

Kirsten Dunst sips on this concoction at Abe & Arthur’s Restaurant on West 14 Street in NYC. Check it out below:

Apple snowflake martini

3 parts ABSOLUT Vodka

3 parts Hiram Walker Sour Apple Schnapps

3 parts Apple Cider

Sugar the rim & garnish with an apple slice

A favorite hangout for stars like Fergie is The Oak Room inside The Plaza Hotel. They gave us the recipe on how to make their Oak Room Blossom! Check out how to make it below:

1 ounce grapefruit juice

3/4 ounce St. Germain (Elderflower liqueur)

4 ounces Sparkling wine (rose preferred)

Our very own New Year’s Eve cocktails just for you by Somer Perez:

Ginger Blossom

1 ½ oz. Zyr Vodka

½ oz. Ginger Simple Syrup*

½ oz. Lillet White

2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Prosecco or Dry Champagne

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients other than the champagne.  Shake and strain into a champagne glass and top with the bubbles. Garnish with edible flowers.

*To make ginger simple syrup, boil 2 cups sugar with one cup water and ½ cup ginger slices. Let sit for at least an hour, then strain the ginger slices out.

This is an easy crowd-pleaser that looks great and also has a sophisticated twist. The ginger syrup can be used in anything from this cocktail to a coffee sweetener!

Spicy Pomegranate Splash

2 oz. White Tequila, preferably Don Julio Silver

3 oz. POM Wonderful Juice

½ oz. Lime Juice

½ oz. Simple Syrup

1 oz. Orange Juice

½ oz. Triple Sec or Grand Marnier

Sugar-Chili Rim

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients and shake.  Strain into a pre-rimmed martini glass.

*To make the sugar-chili, combine 2 tablespoons of white sugar with 1 teaspoon of red chili powder

This cocktail looks great and goes down easy!  Everyone will be impressed with the sugar-chili rim, and you don’t have to tell anyone how easy it was to make.

(You can also batch this drink and make it into a pitcher or a punch. Just have the glasses pre-rimmed and out, and let your guests just shake and pour!)
