Brittany Murphy’s Prescription Drugs -- What Celeb Tragedies They've Been Linked to Before

Drugs reportedly found in Brittany Murphy’s home linked to other famous untimely deaths, like Anna Nicole Smith and Heath Ledger.

Paramedics found ten different prescription drugs at the scene of Brittany Murphy’s collapse the morning of Dec. 20, and several–most notably anti-anxiety medications Topomax, Klonopin, Ativan, and Hydrocodone–have been associated with other tragic celebrity deaths, like Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, and DJ AM.

Other meds found at the scene could have been contraindicated with her health problems—her mother claimed she had diabetes and Propranolol can sometimes mask the symptoms of hypoglycemia.

In addition, several of the medications have been scientifically linked to coronary death.
